How the day unfolded ....

Riding a bus from Tecoma to Moonee Valley Racing Club, Moonee Ponds

Arriving at Moonee Valley Racing Club, Moonee Ponds

Last minute instructions before the FlashMob

Filmmaker, Tim Smith

The MC introducing Garry Muratore, Spokesperson, NMITDR (No McDonald's in the Dandenong Ranges) to the rostrum)

Just as Garry was being introduced as next speaker there were some 'technical difficulties' with the mike. Thankfully a rather statuesque chap in a red shirt emerged from the rear to tweak the sound system.
Little fiddling about and a brief "check one two" from sound guy and the audience was prepared to settle in for the next session. The MC was about to retake the podium when sound guy belted out "Do you hear the people sing?"... the crowd responded with enthusiastic applause... "Singing a song of angry men"...
